PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Debbie Wilburn has over 30 years of progressive accounting leadership experience, serving as Controller, Regional Controller, and Director of Finance across not-for-profit sectors, including utilities, healthcare, government, public accounting, and higher education.

She has led financial performance, shaped financial policy, and managed high-performing finance teams. In her current role as Controller at Braven, Inc., she oversees the organization’s accounting and financial management. Her deep sense of purpose extends beyond her professional roles.

Notably, Debbie founded D. Wilburn & Associates, LLC, through which she has extended her expertise in accounting, consulting, bookkeeping, and tax services to clients. Additionally, she contributes her financial acumen as a board member for REACH Community Service.
